One of the prominent Tourist Places in Wayanad, Kuruva Island is a 900 acre ever green forest surrounded by the branches of Kabani River tributary. Kuruva Island is good for a soft trekking and relaxing tour. Rare species of birds, orchids and herbs are seen here. The place is almost 15 km away from Mananthavady and 40 Km from Sulthan Bathery. Travelers need to use a country made raft to cross over to the Island.
